Purpose

Our purpose as a Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is to:

Praise and glorify God through public worship.
(Matthew 4:10; John 4:24)
Proclaim clearly the gospel of Jesus Christ.
(I Corinthians 15:3-4)
Preach and teach the Word of God.
(II Timothy 3:16-17, 4:2; Colossians 1:28-29; Hebrews 10:24-25)
Obey the Lord’s command to disciple all nations, beginning at home and reaching around the world.
(Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
Be good stewards of our time, talents, and resources.
(Romans 12:4-8; Malachi 3:10; II Corinthians 9:7)

Work for and maintain the unity of the Spirit of God in fellowship with one another.
(Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:3, 11-16)

We are here to glorify God and enjoy Him in all aspects of our lives and make Him known to others.
